Outside living space sells and when staged well greatly enhances that emotional connection staging seeks to engender in potential buyers. Here we have a Lafayette, California yard with lots of appeal. All we had to do was arrange seating vignettes that made maximum use of the large space, creating conversation and family fun areas whose function would be immediately recognizable and relatable. The adults can see themselves having a barbeque and hot tub while the teens use the basketball/tennis court and the smaller children play in the fort, still leaving a quiet get away on the chaise lounges from which the grandparents can watch the action all around.
Nestled up in the Oakland Hills, this property was secluded and lush with glorious plants, so much so that it blocked the view of the outdoor living areas and the path to the front door. We worked with the homeowner to open up the space to welcome potential buyers without losing any of the lushness that makes this property so appealing.
