This lovely Moraga living room had great "bones" - high vaulted ceilings, large windows letting in lots of light, a marble front fireplace and ample square footage. But it still had all the original 80's oak woodwork except new crown molding had been installed. That combined with the pink walls really dated the look and the owners wanted to bring in a new more modern feel. We began by choosing a soft white that complementd the marble in the fireplace and used that on all the woodwork. The soft green chosen for the walls complemented the white and really updated the look. We completed the transformation with new furniture, artwork and accessories to make this a great place to relax and entertain freinds. .
This Dining Room in a beautiful home in Moraga, CA.badly needed updating. The builder had put carpet in the dining room, and all the woodwork was oak, including the crown molding.- even with the large window it left the room feeling dark and enclosed. There was also a very dated wallpaper above the chair rail, the before picture was taken after that was already removed. A soft white on the woodwork, a two tone citron pallette on the walls, a brushed nickel fixture with linen shades, and new hardwood floors were combined with updated furniture selections, and some live plants completed the transformation.
